I am particle to the visualisation exercises. This is something I have done for a long time to help me sleep. I have a story, a scene I visualize every night to over come my insomnia. To begin with I would go through the whole story but I am at a point night where I fall asleep at the same or around the part every night. With out this visualization I would be awake all night tossing and turning.
